The Dentist Visits!
In November the dentist came to visit the pupils of our school. We were all reminded how to brush our teeth properly. Dental science is an exciting career option and not only will we look after our teeth but we may have some dentists from our school in the years ahead.

Second Class Cooks!
Some second class pupils experimented by mixing materials and observing how they change! Dry biscuits, dry cocoa powder blended with butter and milk can produce a delicious cake. Easy to do even easier to eat!!!

Senior Mathematicians 3rd - 5th Class
Senior pupils took part in maths trails designed for active engagement in maths using our environment.

3rd Class Printing
In November our three 3rd classes were lucky to have an expert in printing visit for two days. The children sketched, etched, inked and printed! You can see how the work progressed in the slideshow.

Aquaponics
Our aquaponics project continues. The children test the water under teacher supervision to maintain the best environment for the fish and the plants. A cookery demonstration by Denis showed us how the herbs and fruits can be used to enhance soups, savouries and desserts.

Intel Miniscientists 2015
Once again the judges were excited by the knowledge and experiments of the pupils taking part in the competition. Weeks of preparation and recording culminated in delightful and entertaining displays. Judges, peers and parents came to view the findings. Well done to everyone who took part.
